Dubai & Seychelles
If we arrange your flights with Emirates we can easily add Dubai to your
itinerary as a stopover.
Dubai is of the world's most exciting destinations, with super-deluxe hotels
that grace the beaches, city and desert and a whole host of restaurants,
shopping centres, historical places and museums and activities to entertain. It
has a remarkably diverse range of cuisine, from chic coffee shops to some of the
best fine dining found in the world.
Not to be missed are exhilarating desert activities, a desert safari and
barbecue, dinner on a dhow cruise or a seaplane tour.
Seychelles & Mauritius
The Seychelles can be combined with Mauritius for an unforgettable two-centre
holiday. Whilst both are island destinations, they are very diverse and
combining both promises a totally different experience in each.
Clear turquoise warm waters and pristine white sandy beaches surround the
paradise island of Mauritius. The island has some of the best beach resorts and
finest accommodation in the world, amidst a backdrop of rugged mountains,
cascading waterfalls and vast sugar cane plains. With 700 species of indigenous
plants and over 60 different orchid species alone, Mauritius is the world’s
second largest supplier of plants and cut flowers after the Netherlands.
Mauritius is a thriving cosmopolitan island full of friendly people with a
unique blend of cultures and peoples from Europe, Asia and Africa. This heritage
has influenced its superb mixture of cuisines and cooking traditions, including
Creole, European, Chinese and Indian.
With 330 kilometres of coastline encircled by a coral barrier reef that protects
the turquoise lagoons of the island, Mauritius offers wonderful diving
experiences to its visitors all year round. With its safe lagoons stretching up
to the barrier reef, its passes, drop-offs and wrecks, the island provides a
wide variety of dives for both beginner and advanced divers. The island is also
known for its world-class water sports including big game fishing, windsurfing
and sailing. On land, the island has championship golf courses each of which
provide a unique golfing experience to the visitor.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities, from branded textiles, silk suits
and local knitwear to pottery, cut stones, perfume, essential oils, tea and
basketwork.
Mauritius is only a 2½ hour flight from the Seychelles and Air
Seychelles flies to the island three times a week. Return flights can be
arranged from Mauritius back to the UK.
