Mahé Island is the largest island in the Seychelles and is home to the
International Airport and the capital, Victoria. Measuring just 17 miles by 5
miles, it has lush, tropical mountains rising to around 3000 feet.
Mahé remains unspoiled and undeveloped and exploring the island is
highly recommended. The ‘wild south’ in particular features superb scenery
combined with spectacular flora and fauna and pristine beaches.
Mahé is also the hub for island-hops and day excursions to neighbouring
islands such as Praslin, Cerf Island, Moyenne Island, Sainte Anne Marine Park
and all other islands within the Seychelles.
