A world heritage site since 1979, you can visit many of the now-open tombs of the pharaohs, including King Tutankhamun, to get just a glimpse of this opulent and awesome part of history.

Karnak

From the Arabic word Khurnak, meaning “fortified village”, the Karnak Temple Complex is comprised of an impressive array of over 200 decayed chapels, pylons and temples, as well as the Karnak Open Air Museum. One of the most famed ruins here is the colossal Amen-Ra Temple. After the Giza Pyramids in Cairo, Karnak is thought to be the second-most-popular tourist destination.

Valley of the Queens

Every King needed his Queen, and every tourist needs to visit the Valley of the Queens as well as the Valley of the Kings. It was known in ancient times as “Ta-Set-Neferu”, translating to “the place of beauty”, and a beautiful place it truly is. Comprised of over 30 wondrous principal tombs, you can visit many of them. The Valley of the Queens is the perfect place to admire Egyptian history in all its glory.
