The Old Palace Resort is located in the exclusive Sahl Hasheesh Master Plan, only 18km south of Hurghada Airport and a 20-minute drive to the city. Tucked behind high Red Desert Mountains, the Old Palace Resort is within a walking distance from the old town and sits right on the 12km promenade connecting the various beach areas, on a seemingly endless stretch of white sand. It boasts a 200-meter-long, sandy beach with effortless access to the crystal-clear turquoise water of the Red Sea.

What Is There To Do At Old Palace Resort?

Year-round climate and gentle wind are ideal for a variety of water activities you can take part in at the Old Palace Resort, such as wind surfing, snorkelling, sailing and scuba diving. All of these activities are available through our professionally managed Aqua and Diving Centres. Boat trips to nearby islands can also be arranged.

The Old Palace Resort offers exquisite food in casual but elegant settings, with the addition of lively entertainment - indoor and outdoor, both day and night.

Live interactive cooking stations include Asian, Middle Eastern and European dishes created by expert chefs, perfectly to your tastes. The Old Palace Resort’s Alkasr serves lunch and dinner, in addition to an extensive and enticing daily breakfast buffet.

La-Bonita Bar

La-Bonita Bar is a traditional Italian kitchen, offering a selection of authentic Italian dishes, with specially imported ingredients to guarantee the true authenticity of each and every dish. Dishes on the menu consist of simple yet classic appetizers, such as Carpaccio and antipasti, in addition to pizzas and homemade pasta dishes. All our dishes follow a simple approach to cooking; back to basics. Enjoy genuine Italian coffee, as well as indulgent wines, both by the glass and the bottle.

The Gazebo

The Gazebo is the perfect spot for impressing a date – some restaurants you may have visited in the past have great food but no atmosphere – but The Gazebo has both. La-Bonita Bar

La-Bonita is a late-night area that people love due to its amazing atmosphere. Located just off the lobby, the guest descends the stairs to the Old Palace Resort’s La-Bonita bar, lured by the sound of great music. Dance the night away to the club tunes spun by our amazing DJ.

The Lobby Lounge

The Lobby Lounge is a wonderfully inviting space, experience as the guests arrive at the resort, and beyond. It is a luxurious oasis offering different experiences within the large space. The bar with communal seating arrangements transforms from a coffee/tea style café in the day to a cocktail lounge at night, which stays an active social zone throughout.

There are also more private areas available where individuals can relax and enjoy the atmosphere, but who don’t necessarily want to engage in the activity.

The Pool Bar

The Pool Deck overlooks the beach and the swimming pool and offers spectacular Red Sea views. It allows guests to feast on an amazing range of snacks including deli sandwiches, fresh salads and grilled delights
