No payment now, just the details we need to build your quote.
On its own quiet stretch of Red Sea shoreline, Casa Cook El Gouna is an adults-only boutique hideaway that does laid-back luxury exceptionally well. Bedouin-inspired architecture in earthy, sun-baked tones sits low against the landscape, all raw wood, stone and soft linen, with palm-fringed pools and shaded lounges drifting down towards a private beach. It is a hotel designed for slowing down, and it works its magic quickly.
Days here are yours to shape. Linger over breakfast at the Kitchen Club, claim a daybed by the pool or take to the water at the on-site kitesurfing centre, then let the resident DJ’s mellow soundtrack carry you into golden hour with a cocktail in hand at the beach bar. The spa, with its traditional hammam, saunas and heated pool, adds another layer of calm.
Reserved for adult guests, Casa Cook suits couples and friends who want style without stuffiness, with the restaurants and nightlife of El Gouna’s Abu Tig Marina and Downtown only minutes away.

Rooms at Casa Cook El Gouna feel like a natural extension of the desert and sea around them. Expect earthy grey tones, stone surfaces, rattan and raw-wood furniture and crisp natural linens, with furnished balconies or terraces made for slow mornings. Air conditioning, satellite TV, free WiFi, a safe, a minibar, a kettle, a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers come as standard, and every room looks out over the gardens, the pools or the Red Sea itself.
At 39 sq m, Deluxe Rooms are calm, generously sized retreats with a king-size bed or twin beds and a private balcony or terrace. Choose a garden or pool outlook, or book a Deluxe Sea View and wake to the blue of the Red Sea. Solo travellers are well looked after too, with a dedicated Solo Select option in this category.
The 48 sq m Premium Rooms add extra living space and a more indulgent feel. The Premium King Terrace Sea View pairs a king-size bed with a deep terrace facing the water, while a twin-bedded version is also available for friends travelling together.
Junior Suites measure 42 sq m and come with a choice of king or twin beds and a range of views across the resort. The Deluxe Swim-up Junior Suites are a firm favourite: step straight off your sun terrace into a shared pool, no walk to the water required.
The pick of the collection, the 83 sq m Two Bedroom Villa sleeps up to four and comes with its own private pool and sea views from a furnished, shaded terrace. Inside you will find a separate living room, one king-size bedroom and one twin, and two bathrooms, including both an indoor and an outdoor shower. With stone walls, raw-wood furnishings and natural textures throughout, it is a wonderfully private base for a longer stay or a special occasion.

Casa Cook sits on a secluded beachfront at the edge of El Gouna, the Red Sea’s most stylish resort town. Built across a lattice of islands, lagoons and canals, El Gouna is a self-contained world of sandstone architecture, bougainvillaea and turquoise water, easily explored by tuk-tuk or boat. The hotel guards its sense of privacy, yet you are only minutes from the action: Abu Tig Marina, around 3 km away, lines its waterfront with restaurants, cocktail bars and boutiques beside rows of gleaming yachts, while Downtown El Gouna offers shops, cafes and a relaxed nightlife scene.
The town has earned its reputation as one of the world’s great kitesurfing destinations, thanks to shallow lagoons and steady winds, and the offshore reefs of the Red Sea serve up superb diving and snorkelling, with local centres arranging trips to nearby sites. Golfers can tee off on El Gouna’s desert courses, and boat excursions head out to sandbanks and islands for days spent in and on the water. Hurghada International Airport is roughly 30 to 40 minutes away by road, so transfers are short, and Hurghada itself makes an easy day out if you fancy a livelier pace.

Casa Cook El Gouna is built around water, wellness and a private sweep of Red Sea sand. Loungers and palm shade line the beach, while the main pool, heated through the winter months, comes with a beach club bar and a laid-back DJ soundtrack. A second, quieter pool near the entrance of the hotel is the spot for undisturbed reading and slow afternoons.
The spa is a serious draw. A modern take on the Egyptian bathhouse, it features a heated spa pool, two saunas, steam rooms, plunge pools and a traditional hammam, alongside five treatment rooms and an outdoor relaxation area. Active guests are equally well served, with a fully equipped gym and a yoga shala hosting daily group sessions as well as private yoga and Pilates. Out on the water, the hotel’s beachfront kitesurfing centre, run in partnership with Duotone, takes advantage of some of the most reliable wind and shallow-water conditions on the Red Sea, with tuition for first-timers and equipment for seasoned riders.

Food at Casa Cook El Gouna is one of the hotel’s quiet triumphs, and staying on a half board basis means both your breakfast and your dinner are taken care of at the Kitchen Club, the hotel’s signature restaurant.
Mornings at the Kitchen Club are unhurried affairs, with a spread that draws on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours, and plenty of choice whatever your dietary preferences. Guests regularly single out the breakfast here as among the best they have had in Egypt, with everything from freshly prepared eggs to falafel worth lingering over. In the evening the restaurant comes into its own as a social, convivial space designed for long, leisurely dining, where Arabic, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking come together in generous mezze spreads and dishes that honour the region’s culinary heritage.
Between meals, the beach bar keeps things easy with handcrafted cocktails, curated wines and signature local infusions served to lounge seating overlooking the Red Sea, while a resident DJ supplies a mellow soundtrack as the sun drops over the water. The beach club bar at the main pool means a cold drink or a light bite is never far from your lounger either.
And because El Gouna is on the doorstep, you have the whole town to play with whenever you fancy a change of scene: the waterfront restaurants of Abu Tig Marina and the cafes of Downtown are just a short tuk-tuk ride away, so a night off from the hotel is as effortless as a night in.
