The Makadi Spa Hotel is an adults-only, all-suite retreat on the shores of Makadi Bay, created with couples and grown-up escapes firmly in mind. From the infinity pool looking out across the Red Sea to the quiet rhythm of the pool terraces and gardens, everything here is arranged to help you slow down, switch off and be looked after.
Every room is a suite, so you always have space to spread out, whether you choose a Junior Suite opening onto the gardens or treat yourselves to a suite with its own plunge pool. Days drift easily between the beach, the pools and the spa, while evenings bring a generous choice of restaurants and bars, from teppanyaki theatre to Spanish tapas.
Set within the polished resort village of Madinat Makadi, you also have the boutiques, cafes and restaurants of the Makadi Mall promenade within easy reach, with Hurghada and its airport a comfortable transfer away.

The Makadi Spa Hotel is entirely suite-based, which sets the tone for the whole stay: even the entry-level rooms give you a proper lounge area to relax in, a furnished balcony or terrace, and a bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower. Suites come with air conditioning, satellite television and tea and coffee making facilities, and the styling throughout is calm and contemporary, all soft neutrals and clean lines rather than fuss.
The Junior Suite is a generous open-plan space with a king-size bed and a comfortable seating area, opening onto a balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens. If you would rather wake up to the water, sea-view upgrades are available, and Large Junior Suites offer even more room to unwind.
For a real sense of space, the One Bedroom Suite gives you a separate living room as well as the bedroom, ideal for longer stays or simply for couples who like somewhere to read, order a drink and enjoy a slower start to the day.
The most indulgent options add a private touch of luxury. Pool Suites come with their own plunge pool on the terrace and views out towards the sea, so you can cool off in complete privacy, while Jacuzzi Suites swap the pool for a bubbling tub of your own. Both are firm favourites with honeymooners and anyone marking a special occasion.
At the top of the range, the Royal Suite offers a large bedroom, a separate living room and two sea-view balconies, with an upgraded bathroom to match. It is the suite to choose if you want the bay laid out in front of you from morning coffee to evening aperitif.
Whichever suite you settle on, the adults-only setting means the whole hotel shares the same unhurried atmosphere, with no early-morning splashing outside your window and plenty of quiet corners that feel like your own.

The Makadi Spa Hotel sits within Madinat Makadi, a smart, self-contained resort village on the curve of Makadi Bay, around 25 kilometres south of Hurghada International Airport. Transfers are short and straightforward, so you can be sipping a welcome drink well under an hour after landing.
Makadi Bay itself is one of the Red Sea’s most relaxed corners, a sheltered sweep of sandy beach backed by landscaped resorts rather than a busy town, with coral reefs close to the shore that make snorkelling here genuinely rewarding. Within the village, the Makadi Mall promenade is a pleasant evening stroll from the hotel, lined with boutiques, cafes and additional restaurants, and there is a golf course within Madinat Makadi for those who like to play.
When you fancy a change of scene, Hurghada is about 35 kilometres away, with its marina, seafront restaurants and old town bazaar. Boat trips run out to offshore reefs and islands for snorkelling and diving, desert excursions head inland by jeep or quad bike, and a long but unforgettable day trip can take you across to Luxor for the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple.

Life at The Makadi Spa Hotel revolves around the water. Two free-form pools wind through the gardens, one of them heated in the cooler months, while the infinity pool seems to spill straight into the Red Sea and is the spot everyone gravitates to for late-afternoon swims. Down on the private beach, sun loungers and parasols line the sand, and the gently shelving bay with its house reef means you can snorkel straight from the shore among the fish and corals.
The spa is central to the hotel’s identity, as the name suggests. You can book massages, hammam rituals and beauty treatments, or simply ease into the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi between sessions by the pool. A fitness centre keeps gym routines ticking over, and there is a programme of daytime activities for those who want them.
Because the hotel is adults only, the pace stays pleasantly unhurried: loungers are easier to come by, the pools stay peaceful and evening entertainment leans towards live music and a relaxed drink rather than anything raucous. Golf and the shops of the Makadi Mall promenade are both within the wider Madinat Makadi village if you feel like venturing beyond the gardens.

Dining is one of the great pleasures of a stay here, and with Classic Holidays you stay on an all-inclusive basis, so the breadth of restaurants is yours to explore rather than admire from a distance. Buffet breakfasts and dinners are served at The World, with live cooking stations and themes that change through the week, while The Cove and the more laid-back Shimmers take care of lunch, and the Chill Out serves lighter bites between meals.
Where the hotel really shines is in its speciality restaurants. Mandarin serves Asian cuisine with a teppanyaki grill for a bit of dinnertime theatre, Mariscos focuses on Red Sea seafood, and Parrilla is the steakhouse for properly grilled cuts. Casa Romana handles the Italian classics, La Taberna brings Spanish flavours and tapas to the table, and Jasper offers a fine-dining experience for a special evening. A handful of premium dishes carry a supplement, but you can eat extremely well night after night without reaching for your wallet.
Your all-inclusive package keeps the drinks flowing too, with soft drinks available around the clock and local beer, wine, spirits and cocktails served from mid-morning until midnight. There are plenty of places to enjoy them: Hugo’s Bar and the Vanilla Lounge for a relaxed evening drink, Captain’s Inn and Sam’s Bar for something livelier, Leo’s Bar and the Americano Garden Bar for drinks among the greenery. Café Vienna pours proper coffee alongside cakes and pastries through the afternoon, and the Makadi Gelateria scoops ice cream for the walk back to the beach.
If you fancy a change of scene, the Makadi Mall promenade a short stroll away adds further à la carte restaurants, including French, Indian and Lebanese options, so even on a two-week stay you need never eat in the same place twice.
