JAZ Grand Marsa is a five-star All Inclusive resort that sits right on the shore of the Red Sea at Marsa Alam, one of Egypt’s most unspoilt stretches of coast. Spread across landscaped gardens that run gently down to a soft sandy beach, the resort blends warm Egyptian hospitality with a calm, easygoing atmosphere and some of the clearest, most colourful waters in the country.
Part of the respected JAZ Hotel Group, the resort has been designed for guests who want to unwind. Days drift between the pools, the sun terraces and the private beach, while the on-site dive centre puts the area’s renowned reefs within easy reach. It is a place to slow down, eat well and let the rhythm of the sea set the pace.
With its position just a short transfer from Marsa Alam International Airport, JAZ Grand Marsa is wonderfully easy to reach, so your holiday can begin almost the moment you land. Whether you are here to dive, to relax or simply to enjoy the sunshine, it makes a tranquil and comfortable base on the southern Red Sea.
The resort offers a generous choice of rooms and suites, each finished in a clean, contemporary style with a private balcony or terrace. Accommodation is arranged across several categories so you can choose the outlook that suits you best, from rooms overlooking the gardens to those facing the pools or the sea.
Room categories typically include:
Rooms come well appointed with modern comforts, including air conditioning, a television, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and a private bathroom. Please note that minibar items are not part of the All Inclusive board. Exact furnishings and views vary by category, so we are happy to advise on the right room type when you book.
The resort is built around two swimming pools, one of which is seasonally heated, surrounded by sun terraces and loungers where you can settle in with a drink and a book. The gardens and water features give the grounds a calm, resort-wide sense of space.
Fronting the resort is a private beach with direct access to the Red Sea, along with a house reef that begins close to shore, ideal for snorkelling straight off the sand. A jetty or pier provides easy entry to the water in places where the shoreline is rocky.
Wellness and activities available:
Spa treatments, diving courses, guided dives and motorised watersports are available to book on site and are not part of the All Inclusive board. Heating of the pool is seasonal and subject to the resort’s own arrangements.
JAZ Grand Marsa lies on the coastal road between El Quseir and Marsa Alam (around the KM 65 marker), right on the Red Sea in the wider Marsa Alam region of Egypt’s Southern Red Sea. Its great advantage is how close it sits to the airport, so transfers are short and stress-free.
Getting here and around:
The real draw of this coast is what lies beneath the surface. Marsa Alam is one of the Red Sea’s finest diving and snorkelling destinations, and the resort’s own house reef is a rewarding starting point right on the doorstep. Further afield, the region is famous for several standout sites.
Notable dive and snorkel sites in the area:
Trips to these sites can be arranged locally through the dive centre. A stay here pairs beautifully with a Nile cruise aboard Classic Holidays’ own ships, combining the calm of the Red Sea with the timeless wonders of ancient Egypt. Cruise the river in comfort on board the MS Royal Princess or the Classic Blue Shadow IV.
Dining at JAZ Grand Marsa centres on a relaxed main buffet restaurant, where international and regional dishes are served at breakfast, lunch and dinner, with live cooking stations and a changing daily selection. It is an easy, varied way to eat throughout your stay.
Alongside the buffet, a choice of a la carte restaurants is available for a more intimate evening, with venues showcasing Mediterranean and Asian cuisine among others. The a la carte restaurants usually require advance booking and may carry a supplement or be subject to availability, so it is worth reserving your table once you arrive.
Bars and lounges include:
Locally produced soft and alcoholic drinks are generally included with the All Inclusive board, while imported brands, premium spirits and selected cocktails may be available at an extra charge. We can confirm the latest All Inclusive details for your travel dates.
