The Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort is a four-star all-inclusive retreat set along one of the loveliest stretches of shoreline in Marsa Alam, on Egypt’s southern Red Sea. Spread out in a relaxed, village-style layout beside Port Ghalib, the resort opens directly onto a generous 800-metre private beach and faces the open sea, where the water shades from turquoise shallows into the deep blue of the reef wall just offshore.
The mood here is calm and unhurried. Days drift between sun-warmed loungers, gentle swims and quiet hours by the water, while the resort’s own jetty reaches far out over the coral, giving easy access to a house reef that is widely rated among the finest in the region. It is an address that suits keen snorkellers and divers as readily as those who simply want to slow down beside the Red Sea.
With several restaurants and bars, a spa, heated winter pools and a dive centre all within the grounds, the resort works beautifully as a self-contained base. Port Ghalib’s marina, promenade and shops sit only a short transfer away, and Marsa Alam International Airport is close at hand, making arrival and departure refreshingly simple.
Accommodation is set across low-rise buildings within the resort gardens, with most rooms offering a balcony or terrace and full or partial sea views, while others look over the pools or landscaped grounds. Interiors are spacious and comfortable, finished in a warm, understated style.
Premium Rooms measure around 28 square metres and come with air conditioning, a balcony, French balcony or terrace, an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a minibar, satellite television, a safe, direct-dial telephone and complimentary Wi-Fi.
A choice of further categories is available, including:
Exact room features, sizes and views vary by category, so do ask us about the options that best suit your stay.
At the heart of the resort is a large freshwater pool, heated during the winter months, which overflows into a second pool area beside the sea, all surrounded by sun terraces with complimentary loungers, parasols and towels.
The 800-metre private beach is the resort’s great asset, gently shelving into clear water with its own long jetty extending out over the reef for easy swimming and snorkelling. A spa and wellness area is available, with a sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi and quiet relaxation and massage areas; treatments and spa rituals can be booked for an additional charge. There is also a fitness centre.
An on-site dive centre caters for both qualified divers and beginners, with diving, guided trips and watersports available locally for an extra charge. Throughout the day a programme of light sports and activities runs alongside the main facilities, and Free Wi-Fi is offered in public areas. Some leisure and wellness services are seasonal or weather-dependent, so we are happy to confirm what will be open for your dates.
The resort sits on the Red Sea coast at Port Ghalib, in the Marsa Alam region of southern Egypt. Marsa Alam International Airport (RMF) is only around five kilometres away, roughly a twenty to twenty-five minute transfer, which makes for an easy start and finish to the holiday. Port Ghalib’s marina, waterfront promenade and shops are a short distance from the resort.
Marsa Alam is celebrated as one of the Red Sea’s premier diving and snorkelling destinations, with reefs that are among the healthiest in Egypt. The resort’s own house reef, reached straight from the jetty, is an excellent starting point. Further afield, day trips can be arranged to some of the region’s signature sites:
Diving, snorkelling excursions and boat trips are arranged locally and carry their own cost. For a wonderful contrast to the coast, a Red Sea stay here pairs beautifully with a Nile cruise aboard one of Classic Holidays’ own ships, such as the MS Royal Princess or the Classic Blue Shadow IV, combining ancient temples and tombs with sunshine and superb diving by the sea.
Dining is built around the Panorama Buffet Restaurant, the resort’s main venue, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with international buffets and a programme of themed evenings. Lighter, sea-facing meals are served at the Lagoona Beach Restaurant, where the daytime buffet is included; certain seafood dishes here are available for an extra charge.
For a special evening, a selection of à la carte restaurants is available alongside the all-inclusive board, bookable at the resort:
These à la carte venues carry a supplement and are not part of the standard all-inclusive board. Around the resort you will also find a range of bars, including a pool bar, beach bar and lobby bar, plus an oriental corner for tea, coffee and shisha. The all-inclusive package covers local-brand drinks; freshly squeezed juices, imported and premium drinks are available for an additional charge.
